Change the oil and filter after the 10 hour/300 mile break-in period and at regular intervals thereafter.

Draining[]
The drain plug in the oil pan has a 22mm head. It has a copper washer that should be inspected, cleaned, and replaced if worn. The plug has an integral magnet that captures small metal particles. Clean the magnet.
The filter is partially surrounded by a heat shield. A strap-type wrench, which accepts a socket ratchet, can be applied to loosen the filter.
Refilling[]
Remove the breather cap to refill. The cap is a press-fit with only a couple of O-rings holding it in, but it can be stubborn. If you can rotate the cap back and forth even a little bit, eventually you should be able lift it out.
Important: To make refilling easier, remove the oil dip stick and leave it out during the refilling operation. If you don't do this, the only way air can escape is back through the breather cap opening. This will cause 'burping' that slows down the refilling process.
